    30 Prayers for the Weekend

    1. Psalm 23:1-2

    “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.”

    Father, as I embrace the calm of the weekend, I thank You for being my shepherd and guide.

    Help me find peace and restoration in Your presence, just as You lead me to still waters and green pastures. May this time renew my soul and prepare me for the week ahead.

    Lord, remind me to depend on You for all my needs. As I rest, I trust in Your provision and unfailing care. Thank You for guiding my steps and assuring me that Your goodness will follow me all the days of my life.

    2. Matthew 11:28

    “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

    Jesus, I come before You this weekend, laying my burdens at Your feet. Thank You for the promise of rest and peace. Refresh my spirit, clear my mind, and calm my heart as I take refuge in Your love and grace.

    Help me to carry this sense of rest into my daily life. Teach me to rely on You, finding strength and solace in Your presence. Thank You for being my sanctuary amidst life’s challenges.

    3. Isaiah 40:31

    “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”

    Lord, as I pause this weekend, I wait upon You to renew my strength. Lift me above the weariness of the week, so I can soar like an eagle, filled with Your power and purpose. Thank You for sustaining me through every trial.

    4. Philippians 4:6-7

    “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

    Lord, I surrender all my worries to You this weekend. Replace my anxiety with a peace that only You can provide. Guard my heart and mind as I focus on gratitude for Your many blessings.

    Help me to trust in Your divine plan. Remind me that Your peace is always available to me when I rest in Your presence, seek You in prayer, and give thanks for Your unending grace.

    5. Psalm 46:10

    “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

    Father, in the stillness of this weekend, help me to recognize Your sovereignty and glory. Teach me to quiet my soul and rest in the assurance of Your divine control over all things.

    Let my moments of stillness draw me closer to You. May my heart exalt Your name, and may my faith deepen as I trust in Your everlasting power and love.

    6. Proverbs 3:5-6

    “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

    Lord, I place my trust in You this weekend. Help me not to lean on my own understanding but to rely entirely on Your wisdom and guidance. Direct my steps and align my heart with Your will.

    May this time be an opportunity to surrender all my plans to You. Teach me to acknowledge You in every aspect of my life, trusting that You will lead me on the right path.

    7. Romans 15:13

    “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”

    Father, thank You for being the God of hope. Fill me with joy and peace as I rest in my faith this weekend. May Your Holy Spirit empower me to overflow with hope, even in uncertain times.

    Guide me to share this hope with others, encouraging those around me with the joy and peace that comes from knowing You. Let my faith be a beacon of light to everyone I encounter.

    8. Psalm 91:11

    “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”

    Lord, I am grateful for Your protection over my life. Thank You for commanding Your angels to watch over me as I navigate each moment of my weekend. Keep me safe and secure under Your care.

    As I go about my activities, help me to remain mindful of Your presence. Strengthen my faith and remind me that You are always with me, surrounding me with Your divine protection.

    9. 1 Peter 5:7

    “Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.”

    Heavenly Father, I cast all my anxieties on You this weekend, knowing that You deeply care for me. Lift the burdens from my heart, and replace them with Your comfort and peace.

    Help me to trust in Your unfailing love. Remind me that You are always ready to carry my worries and that I am never alone in my struggles.

    10. Isaiah 26:3

    “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.”

    Lord, I long for the perfect peace that only You can provide. Help me to fix my mind on You throughout this weekend, trusting in Your promises and Your sovereignty.

    May my thoughts be centered on Your goodness and faithfulness. Guard my heart from distractions, and fill me with the calm assurance that comes from being in Your presence.

    12. Colossians 3:15

    “And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.”

    Jesus, I invite Your peace to rule in my heart this weekend. Help me to approach each moment with gratitude, mindful of the many blessings You have given me. Fill my heart with thankfulness and joy.

    13. Jeremiah 29:11

    “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

    Lord, I rest in the knowledge that You have good plans for my life. Thank You for the future and hope You have promised me. Strengthen my faith as I trust in Your perfect will this weekend.

    15. Lamentations 3:22-23
