    30 Prayers for All Saints Day with Scriptures to Back

    All Saints’ Day, celebrated on November 1st, is a time to honor and remember the saints who have gone before us, inspiring us with their faith and devotion.

    These prayers for all saints each accompanied by a scripture verse, offers a meaningful way to reflect on their lives and seek their intercession.

    Whether you are praying for personal guidance, strength, or gratitude, these prayers and scriptures will help you connect with the spirit of the saints and deepen your faith.

    30 Prayers for All Saints Day

    1. Psalm 34:4

    “I sought the LORD, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.”

    Heavenly Father, we give thanks for the holy saints who have gone before us, their unwavering faith, and their example of devotion. Grant us the courage to seek You wholeheartedly, just as they did.

    Deliver us from our fears and doubts, and help us to trust in Your divine providence. May we draw inspiration from the lives of the saints and follow in their footsteps.

    2. Hebrews 12:1

    “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.”

    Lord Jesus, we are grateful for the cloud of witnesses who cheer us on from heaven. Help us to lay aside the burdens and sins that hinder our spiritual journey.

    Strengthen our resolve to run the race with endurance, keeping our eyes fixed on You. May the saints’ perseverance inspire us to stay faithful and steadfast in our walk with You.

    3. Revelation 7:9

    “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.”

    Almighty God, we celebrate the diversity and unity of the saints who stand before Your throne. We pray for the grace to live in harmony with one another, embracing our differences while upholding our shared faith.

    May we join the great multitude in worshipping You with pure hearts and unending praise.

    4. 1 Peter 1:16

    “Since it is written, ‘You shall be holy, for I am holy.'”

    Dear Lord, we recognize the call to holiness that You have placed upon our lives. As we honor the saints who embodied this call, help us to strive for holiness in our thoughts, words, and actions.

    5. Philippians 1:6

    “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”

    Gracious Father, we trust in Your promise to complete the good work You have begun in us.

    6. 2 Timothy 4:7

    “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

    Lord Jesus, we are inspired by the saints who have fought the good fight and finished the race. Grant us the strength to remain steadfast in our faith, even in the face of challenges and trials.

    Help us to keep the faith and finish our race with the same determination and courage as the saints who have gone before us.

    7. Romans 8:28

    “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”

    Heavenly Father, we take comfort in knowing that all things work together for good for those who love You. As we honor the saints who lived according to Your purpose, help us to trust in Your plan for our lives.

    Guide us through every circumstance, and use all things for our growth and Your glory.

    8. Matthew 5:16

    “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

    Lord, we are inspired by the saints whose lives were a testament to Your love and grace. Help us to let our light shine before others, so that they may see our good works and glorify You.

    May our lives reflect the light of Christ, and may we be a source of hope and encouragement to those around us.

    9. Colossians 3:12

    “Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.”

    Dear Lord, we strive to emulate the virtues of the saints who have gone before us. Help us to put on compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience in our daily lives.

    May we treat others with love and respect, reflecting the character of Christ in all we do.

    10. James 1:12

    “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.”

    Heavenly Father, we are inspired by the saints who remained steadfast under trial and received the crown of life. Grant us the strength to endure our own trials with unwavering faith and trust in Your promises.

    May we one day join the saints in receiving the crown of life, as a testament to our love for You.

    11. Romans 12:12

    “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.”

    Heavenly Father, we rejoice in the hope that the saints have shown us through their lives of faith. Help us to be patient in times of tribulation and to remain constant in prayer, just as they did.

    May our faith be strengthened by their example, and may we find comfort in knowing that they intercede for us.

    12. 2 Corinthians 5:1

    “For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”

    Lord Jesus, we are comforted by the promise of eternal life, as exemplified by the saints who now dwell in Your heavenly kingdom. Grant us the assurance of this eternal home and help us to live with a heavenly perspective.

    May we find peace in the hope of joining the saints in everlasting glory.

    13. 1 Thessalonians 4:14

    “For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.”

    Almighty God, we believe in the resurrection of the dead and the promise of eternal life. As we honor the saints who have gone before us, we pray for the strength to hold fast to this belief.

    May the hope of resurrection fill our hearts with joy and inspire us to live lives worthy of Your calling.

    14. John 14:2

    “In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?”

    Dear Lord, we take comfort in knowing that there is a place prepared for us in Your Father’s house.

    “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.”

    Heavenly Father, we recognize that our true citizenship is in heaven, where the saints now dwell. Help us to live as citizens of Your heavenly kingdom, eagerly awaiting the return of our Savior.

    May our hearts be set on eternal things, and may we be inspired by the example of the saints.

    16. Revelation 21:4

    “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

    Lord Jesus, we find solace in the promise that You will wipe away every tear and bring an end to all suffering.

    As we honor the saints who now experience this eternal peace, help us to trust in Your comforting presence. May we find hope in the assurance that one day, all pain and sorrow will be no more.

    17. Colossians 1:12

    “Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.”

    Gracious Father, we give thanks for the inheritance we share with the saints in light. As we honor their legacy, help us to live in a manner worthy of this divine inheritance.

    May our lives be a testament to Your grace, and may we shine as beacons of Your love and truth.

    18. Ephesians 1:18

    “Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.”

    23. Isaiah 40:31

    “But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”

    Dear Lord, we find encouragement in the promise of renewed strength for those who wait on You.

    “By which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.”

    Gracious Father, we are grateful for the precious promises You have granted us. Inspired by the saints who partook in Your divine nature, help us to escape the corruption of the world and live according to Your will.

    25. Matthew 5:8

    “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”

    Heavenly Father, we thank You for the saints who were pure in heart and now behold Your glory.

    “And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption.”
