    30 Prayer For President with Scriptures to Back

    Leadership is a sacred responsibility, especially when it involves guiding a nation. The president carries an enormous burden of decision-making, accountability, and moral integrity. For this reason, prayer becomes a powerful tool to intercede for their wisdom, strength, and discernment. As believers, we are called to pray for those in authority, asking God to guide them in truth and righteousness.

    When we pray for the president, we are not just praying for one person, but for the nation they lead. Our prayers can invite God’s protection, clarity, and direction into the highest office of the land. This practice encourages unity, hope, and trust in God’s sovereignty. It reminds us that ultimately, He is the One who rules over all kingdoms and leaders of the earth.

    30 Prayer For President

    1. 1 Timothy 2:1-2

    “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.” (KJV)

    Lord, I pray for the president, that You guide him in wisdom and truth. May his leadership bring peace and justice to the nation. Strengthen him to make decisions that honor You.

    Father, let his heart be open to godly counsel. Bless his efforts to lead with integrity. Keep him focused on what serves the people and glorifies Your name.

    2. Proverbs 11:14

    10. Micah 6:8

    12. Deuteronomy 31:6

    16. Psalm 82:3-4
