30 Prayer for Evil Eye With Scriptures to Back

By Pst. Williams ChurchillOctober 14, 2025

The evil eye, often described as a look of envy or malice intended to cause harm, is not merely superstition but a reflection of negative spiritual energy that can manifest through jealousy or ill intent.

Through Scripture and faith, we declare divine protection over every area of our lives, knowing that God’s light exposes and neutralizes every form of darkness.

    Prayer for Evil Eye

    1. Psalm 91:11 (ESV)

For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.

Heavenly Father, let Your angels encamp around me and my household, shielding us from every evil gaze and malicious intent.

God’s protection is not partial—it is complete and encompassing. This verse reassures us that divine guardians are assigned to watch over us continually. No evil eye, curse, or envious thought can penetrate the covering of God’s angels who stand as sentinels over our lives.

When we walk in faith, we do not walk unguarded. Each day, God commands His angels to move on our behalf, ensuring that we remain untouchable to those who wish us harm. His spiritual protection far outweighs any human ill will or unseen darkness.

    2. Isaiah 54:17 (ESV)

No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment.

Lord, let every weapon of envy, jealousy, or spiritual harm directed toward me be rendered powerless in the name of Jesus.

This verse is one of divine assurance and victory. Even when others attempt to harm us spiritually or emotionally, God Himself ensures their efforts will fail. He becomes our defense, nullifying every attack meant for our downfall.

Believers can take confidence in knowing that their destiny cannot be derailed by another’s evil intent. God’s promises are unshakable, and His Word guarantees triumph over all forms of wickedness, including the evil eye.

    3. Numbers 23:23 (ESV)

For there is no enchantment against Jacob, no divination against Israel.

Father, let every curse, spell, or evil word spoken against me be destroyed by Your holy fire.

This verse declares spiritual immunity for God’s people. Just as Israel was protected from sorcery and enchantment, so are we shielded by covenant through Christ. No dark force or spoken word can stand against the authority of His name.

In Christ, every believer carries divine covering. The power of the cross dismantles every spiritual manipulation, ensuring that no evil intention gains ground over the children of God.

    4. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 (ESV)

But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.

Lord, establish me in Your truth and guard me from every evil gaze and spirit of malice.

God’s faithfulness is our greatest protection. While human defense may fail, His commitment to our safety never wavers. He fortifies our hearts and lives against all forms of evil, including those rooted in envy and negativity.

When believers rest in the Lord’s faithfulness, their peace becomes unshakable. Evil loses its influence, and every attempt to harm them spiritually dissolves in the light of His power.

    5. Psalm 121:7 (ESV)

The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.

Father, keep me and all that concerns me from the influence of evil eyes and envious hearts.

This verse offers a full promise of preservation. God does not protect partially; He guards every aspect of our being—body, mind, and spirit. The evil eye loses its potency when met by divine watchfulness.

When we surrender ourselves to God’s care, we walk in a realm of supernatural peace. His hand keeps us secure, ensuring that no unseen force can disturb our divine alignment.

    6. Deuteronomy 28:7 (ESV)

The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you.

Lord, let every envious spirit or evil gaze turned against me be defeated before me in Jesus’ name.

God not only defends His children but ensures that those who seek their downfall stumble before their own schemes. His justice turns every evil intent into a testimony of divine power.

Believers who stand in faith will see their adversaries confounded. The same power that protected Israel in battle still guards God’s people today, breaking every chain of envy and oppression.

    7. Psalm 27:1 (ESV)

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Lord, let Your light surround me, dispelling every shadow of envy or spiritual harm.

God’s light exposes and eradicates the darkness that fuels the evil eye. His presence serves as a fortress around His children, leaving no room for fear or intimidation.

Those who walk in the radiance of His presence are immune to the darkness of envy. His salvation not only redeems but also fortifies the soul against unseen opposition.

    8. Romans 8:31 (ESV)

If God is for us, who can be against us?

Lord, thank You for being on my side. Let no power of envy or hatred prevail against me.

This verse is the declaration of divine confidence. When God stands for us, no force—spiritual or physical—can stand successfully against us. Every evil eye becomes powerless in His presence.

Confidence in God’s support silences every fear. His favor forms an unbreakable shield that nullifies the effects of any malicious intent directed toward His children.

    9. Proverbs 26:27 (ESV)

Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and a stone will come back on him who starts it rolling.

Father, let every evil plan, envy, or curse return to its sender without harming me.

God’s justice ensures that evil intentions never go unchecked. This verse reminds us that those who plot harm often fall into their own traps. The righteous, however, remain under divine preservation.

Believers can trust that God’s fairness governs all things. He turns the schemes of the envious into their own undoing, proving that His protection is both active and powerful.

    10. Psalm 34:7 (ESV)

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.

Lord, let Your angels surround me, delivering me from all spiritual attacks and jealous eyes.

God’s angels serve as divine protectors, guarding His faithful ones from every form of evil. The evil eye cannot thrive where angelic presence abides.

When we walk in reverence before God, we live in a circle of divine security. His angels not only protect but also deliver us from hidden dangers, both seen and unseen.

    11. Psalm 3:3 (ESV)

But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.

Lord, be my shield against all forms of envy, jealousy, and hidden malice that seek to harm me.

God is not only our protector but also our encourager. His presence shields us from negativity and lifts our hearts above fear. Every evil glance or ill wish loses its strength when confronted by His divine covering.

When our confidence rests in Him, no envy can shake our peace. His shield is both spiritual and emotional, keeping us safe and restoring joy even in seasons of opposition.

    12. Proverbs 18:10 (ESV)

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.

Heavenly Father, I call on Your name as my refuge. Hide me in Your tower of safety from every evil eye and jealous heart.

God’s name is not just a title—it is power, refuge, and security. Calling on His name places us in the fortress of divine strength, far beyond the reach of any negative force.

    13. Psalm 121:8 (ESV)

The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.

Lord, protect me as I move through life, guarding me from the gaze of envy wherever I go.

God’s protection is not seasonal—it is constant and unending. He watches over every step His children take, ensuring that their paths remain secure.

This verse assures believers that divine security extends beyond physical spaces. Whether in public or private, God shields us from all malicious energies.

    14. Romans 12:21 (ESV)

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Lord, fill my heart with goodness that repels all evil intentions directed toward me.

God calls us not to retaliate but to conquer darkness through love and kindness. This principle neutralizes the power of envy by replacing bitterness with blessing.

Each act of goodness invites divine favor. When we walk in love, we radiate light that cannot be dimmed by the evil eye or malice.

    15. Psalm 125:2 (ESV)

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, from this time forth and forevermore.

Lord, surround me with Your unshakable presence, like mountains that stand firm against every evil gaze.

God’s protection forms an unbreakable barrier around His people. Just as mountains stand immovable, His presence defends those who trust in Him.

The believer’s life is encircled by divine strength, ensuring that no evil thought or curse can penetrate the covering of grace.

    16. Exodus 14:14 (ESV)

The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.

Lord, grant me the fear of You that protects me from every evil influence.

The reverence of God invites divine protection. Those who walk in awe of Him live in safety, far removed from harm’s reach.

When our hearts are aligned with His, peace and satisfaction flow naturally. His protection becomes the fruit of our faithfulness and reverence.

    20. Psalm 46:1 (ESV)

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Lord, be my refuge from the jealousy of others and my strength in every challenge.

This verse confirms that God is not distant—He is present in every moment of distress. His refuge is immediate, reliable, and unbreakable.

When envy or hostility arise, we rest in the safety of His strength. His protection shields our hearts and souls from all forms of evil.

    21. Ephesians 6:11 (ESV)

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

Father, clothe me with Your armor so I may stand firm against envy and spiritual harm.

The armor of God represents spiritual preparedness. It protects believers from all unseen attacks, including envy and evil intentions.

When we wear His armor daily—truth, faith, and righteousness—no weapon of darkness can prevail against us.
