30 Prayer For Gun Violence with Scriptures to Back

By Pst. Williams ChurchillAugust 19, 2025

Gun violence has become a heartbreaking reality that affects communities, families, and individuals across the world. Behind every headline are real people—lives lost, loved ones grieving, and survivors carrying scars both seen and unseen. In times like these, prayer becomes not only a source of comfort but also a powerful way to seek God’s healing, protection, and peace in the midst of tragedy.

When we lift up prayers for gun violence, we are interceding for victims, their families, and entire communities torn apart by fear and loss. We are also asking God to change hearts, guide leaders, and bring about lasting peace where violence has prevailed. Prayer does not erase pain, but it invites God’s presence into broken places, reminding us that He alone is our refuge and strength in troubled times.
