    30 Prayer For My Depressed Son With Scriptures to Back

    A prayer for my depressed son can be a way for a parent to place their child’s pain, fears, loneliness, and struggles before God.

    May these prayers give parents words to use when their son is struggling and may they remind him that his life has value.

    Prayer For My Depressed Son

    1. Psalm 34:18 (ESV)

    The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

    Heavenly Father, draw close to my son and comfort him when his heart feels broken and overwhelmed.

    God remains near to those who are hurting and does not abandon them in their deepest struggles.

    2. Psalm 147:3 (ESV)

    He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

    Lord, bring healing to the wounds in my son’s heart and help him find relief from his pain.

    3. Isaiah 41:10 (ESV)

    God lovingly blesses His children with His gracious presence, protection, and enduring peace.

    His blessing strengthens hope, renews courage, encourages healing, deepens trust, and reminds families that they can place their loved ones in His care.

    Conclusion

    A prayer for my depressed son is a way for a parent to place a beloved child before God when words and solutions do not seem sufficient.

    May He also give you wisdom, patience, and strength as you stand beside your son through this difficult season.
