30 Short Prayer for Healing and Recovery from Covid With Scriptures to Back

“You will not fear the plague that destroys at midday,” the psalmist wrote, naming sickness directly, the kind that spreads quietly and strikes without warning, and praying protection over it by name rather than avoiding the subject.

These thirty verses are for recovery from Covid specifically, prayed short and direct, the way you’d actually pray them from a sickbed. For your broader physical health, a prayer for health is worth praying once you’re back on your feet.

Pray these as often as you need to through the day, even a few words at a time.

Short Prayer for Healing and Recovery from Covid

5. Psalms 91:14-16 (KJV)

Conclusion

The psalmist named that plague directly instead of avoiding the subject out of fear. There’s something worth borrowing in that, praying specifically over an illness rather than only speaking around it in vague terms.

Keep this list close by your bed, and pray a few lines each time you wake up.

For a more complete healing prayer as you recover further, a prayer for total healing is worth praying alongside this one.
