    30 Prayer For Prisoners And Their Families With Scriptures to Back

    Heavenly Father, we lift prisoners and their families before You, trusting Your mercy reaches beyond walls, courtrooms, and painful consequences.

    Strengthen families carrying shame, fear, and separation. Let grace rebuild what sin and circumstance have broken.

    Prayer For Prisoners And Their Families

    1. Hebrews 13:3 (ESV)

    Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them.

    Lord, teach us compassionate remembrance toward those incarcerated and forgotten.

    The writer commands believers to practice empathetic solidarity. Genuine remembrance reflects Christlike love toward suffering brothers and sisters.

    Such compassion dissolves indifference and judgment. Shared concern strengthens faith within neglected and hurting communities.

    2. Psalm 146:7 (ESV)

    The Lord sets the prisoners free.

    Father, reveal Your liberating power within prison walls and wounded consciences.
